Greer, SC: Lane reopens after collision on 85 backs traffic up for miles on Friday, July 31st 2015

A collision on Interstate 85 Friday afternoon blocked one lane and backed traffic up for miles, the South Carolina Highway Patrol said.The left lane reopened just before 5 p.m, Highway Patrol said.The collision occurred around 4 p.m. near mile marker 54 southbound, 1 mile south of the Highway 14 Greer exit, according to Highway Patrol.Traffic was backed up for about 6 miles, according to the South Carolina Department of Transportation.No injuries were reported. Avoid this area if at all
possible.
