Belmont, NC : One person killed in vehicle crash on Interstate 85 south in Gaston County on Monday November 16 2015

A Ranlo woman died monday night in a wreck on Interstate 85 south in Gaston County, authorities said.
The accident was on the interstate in the southbound lanes between Exit 27 and the Catawba River bridge.
Caryl Michelle Allen, 30, was in her vehicle that was stopped in the right lane when another vehicle struck it, police said.
Allen died from the wreck.
