A Fairview resident was injured in a single-vehicle accident about 5 a.m. Sunday on Route HH, about 3 miles east of Neosho in Newton County, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
Ka Vang, 25, was taken to Freeman Hospital Neosho with minor injuries.
According to the patrol, Vang's westbound car ran off the road and hit a bridge.
• A Pittsburg, Kansas, resident was injured in a two-vehicle crash about 3 p.m. Saturday on Highway 171, about 3 miles north of Carl Junction in Jasper County, according to the state patrol.
Catherine E. Bishop, 21, was taken to Freeman Hospital West in Joplin with moderate injuries.
The patrol reported that an eastbound pickup truck driven by Richard Craig, 81, of Jasper, failed to yield after stopping at a stop sign and pulled into the path of the northbound Bishop car, which was hit in the side.
• A Baxter Springs, Kansas, resident was injured in a single-vehicle wreck at 2:20 a.m. Saturday on Highway 43, about 4 miles south of Joplin in Newton County, according to the state patrol.
Summer D. Padilla, 35, was taken to Mercy Hospital Joplin with serious injuries.
The patrol reported the northbound Padilla vehicle ran off of the road and hit a tree.
