Orangeburg County.SC : Driver of a 2007 4-door Kia Killed in single vehicle accident after ran off of the left side of the road and striking several trees on Saturday ,March 28th 2015

South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating following a single vehicle accident in Orangeburg County.

Troopers say at 10:00 Saturday morning, the driver of a 2007 4-door Kia was traveling west on Firetower Rd and ran off the right side of the road.

The person then over corrected and ran off of the left side of the road, striking several trees.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

We are awaiting the identity of the victim from the Orangeburg County Coroner's Office.
