Bakersfield, CA : A crash in south Bakersfield injured five people on Wednesday, January, 24th 2018

A crash in south Bakersfield injured five people Wednesday afternoon and required the Jaws of Life to free a person who was pinned in, according to the Bakersfield Fire Department.

The two-vehicle collision occurred at about 3:21 p.m. at Calcutta Drive and South H Street, a Fire Department release said. Three people suffered major injuries, two others suffered minor injuries and all were taken to local hospitals.
