Wichita, KS : 4 hurt in collision involving sheriff’s deputies on Tuesday, February 21st 2017
Four people were hurt in a collision involving a Sedgwick County sheriff’s patrol car Tuesday evening, authorities said.
The collision occurred at 5:48 p.m. at the intersection of 21st and Greenwich Road in northeast Wichita, a Sedgwick County emergency dispatch supervisor said.
Two sheriff’s deputies were responding to a call when their patrol car was T-boned by a vehicle at the intersection, Lt. Lin Dehning said. Both deputies were injured – one of them with potentially serious injuries.
Two others were hurt, the dispatch supervisor said, though all of the other injuries were minor.
