UXBRIDGE, MA : Motorist killed in one-car crash in Uxbridge on Wednesday, 20th November, 2019

Police are investigating a fatal one-car car crash Wednesday afternoon on River Road.

A driver was killed when a car went off the road near 345 River Road, striking a tree and a telephone pole, according to police. The pole was severed. The road was shut down at about 3 p.m. to allow police to investigate the accident.

Police are not releasing the name of the driver, pending notification of family members.

The accident is under investigation by Uxbridge police and the Central Massachusetts Law Enforcement Council Collision Reconstruction Team.
