Birmingham, AL : At least 10 injured after MAX bus crashed into Wells Fargo bank on Birmingham’s Southside on Tuesday, June 24, 2014

A MAX bus crashed into a Birmingham Wells Fargo bank, sending several people to the hospital.

The incident happened just before 9:00 a.m. Tuesday at the bank located at 3rd Avenue and 18th Street South. Authorities on the scene tell Alabama's 13 a Chevy Tahoe ran a red light and hit the bus. The bus then crashed into the bank.

The drivers of both vehicles and several passengers were taken to the hospital. We’re told none of the injuries appeared to be life threatening. The bank was not open at the time, and no one inside the building was injured.

The bus caused major damage to the bank's exterior.
