Darlington County , SC : 22- Years old man died in head-on crash after after his car hit an SUV head-on along Ebenezer Road on Monday , March 9th 2015

A Darlington man died after his car hit an SUV head-on about 5:30 p.m. Monday on Ebenezer Road in Darlington County, according to South Carolina Highway Patrol.

The man killed in the crash has been identified as Nathaniel George, 22, of Darlington, according to Darlington Coroner Todd Hardee.

Troopers said that a 2000 Chevrolet Tahoe was traveling southbound on Ebenezer Road when a 2007 Suzuki Forenza traveling northbound crossed the center line and collided head-on with the Tahoe.

George, the driver of the Forenza, was not wearing a seatbelt and was thrown from the vehicle, according to Highway Patrol. Hardee said he was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the Tahoe was taken to McLeod Regional Medical Center. That person's condition has not been released.

The collision is under investigation by both the Darlington County Coroner's Office and the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
