GALESBERG, IL : I-74 near Galesburg reopens after crash on Tuesday, 9th January 2024

Interstate 74 eastbound past mile marker 48 near Galesburg was backed up earlier Tuesday afternoon after a crash involving a semi.

City officials say the road has since reopened.

Earlier, city officials urged motorists to avoid the area if possible. The westbound lane was open.
