A Milton man died Thursday after the dump truck he was driving struck another vehicle head-on.
Shawn Ford, who is 50, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the Florida Highway Patrol media release.
He was driving eastbound on State Road 292 just before 2 p.m. when he collided with a box truck driven by Jessie Wright, a 46-year-old Pensacola man. Wright and his passenger, 32-year-old Ronald Brown, were both seriously injured.
Charges are pending the completion of a traffic homicide investigation, the release said.
