Maysville man dies in motorcycle accident in Georgia

A 69-year-old Maysville man was killed Tuesday morning when his motorcycle collided with an SUV shortly after 9 a.m. near downtown Commerce, according to the Georgia State Patrol

James T. Scroggs was pronounced dead at Northridge Medical Center in Commerce, Trooper C.E. Parker said.
Scroggs was driving his Harley-Davidson motorcycle northbound on South Elm Street when a Ford Explorer driven by William L. Morrison, 63, of Danielsville, made a turn toward a Dairy Queen parking lot and the two collided, Parker said.
The wreck is still under investigation, Parker said. No charges have been filed.
