Jonesboro, AR : 6 children were hospitalized as a precaution after two-vehicle crash at Jonesboro Municipal Airport On Monday, June 27th, 2016

Several children were transported from the scene of a crash after a van reportedly ran into a ditch Monday morning.

According to the crash report, 6 children in the van were transported from the scene.

Region 8 News learned they were hospitalized as a precaution.

The crash happened just after 7 a.m. at Airport Road and Lindbergh Drive near the Jonesboro Municipal Airport.

The driver told officers that when she turned to look at the children in the back of the van her front right tire went off the road and she ran into the ditch.
