KNOX COUNTY, IL : 1 dead following accident in Knox County on Friday, 1st March 2024

One person is dead following a two-car accident in Knox County.

According to the Knox County Sheriff's Office, the crash took place near the intersection of Knox Highway 4 and Knox Highway 15 shortly after 2 p.m. on Friday, March 1. Officers believe that a red 1994 Pontiac was travelling north on Knox Highway 15 when they failed to stop at a stop sign. This caused the Pontiac to strike a 2004 Chevrolet truck travelling west on Knox Highway 4, sending both vehicles off the road.
