HANOVER COUNTY, VA : 37-year-old Ashland man killed in crash on Wednesday, 27th February 2019

Authorities say a man is dead after a crash in Hanover County Wednesday evening.

The Hanover County Sheriff's Office has identified the man as 37-year-old Billy Lee Peyton Bickers, Ashland.

According to the sheriff's office, Bickers was driving a 2001 Volvo east on Ashland Road near the intersection with Old Sawmill Lane at about 7:30 p.m., when he ran off the roadway in a curve causing the vehicle to overturn.

Investigators are still working to learn what caused the crash.
