A Streetsboro woman was killed when her vehicle crashed into a pickup truck in Auburn Township on Sunday.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol reports tells Fox 8 that Deborah Dreslinski, 63, was a passenger in the car that her 17-year-old daughter was driving. They were heading west on Bartholomew Road when their vehicle, a Chevy Cobalt, stopped at a stop sign and then pulled in front of the pickup truck as it entered the intersection. The car was hit on the passenger side by the truck traveling south on Munn Road.
The Patrol told a Fox 8 crew on the scene that the pair in the car were heading to a family reunion.
The driver of the pickup truck, an Aurora woman, was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The driver of the car's had minor injuries.
All three of the women were wearing their seatbelts.
Drugs, alcohol and cell phone use do not appear to factors in this crash, according to the Highway Patrol. It remains under investigation.
