MARION, IA : Five people, including three from Hutchinson, injured in Marion County crash on U.S. 56 in a 2006 on Monday, 17th September 2018

Three Hutchinson residents were among five people injured in a two-vehicle collision in Marion County late Monday morning.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, Edward Fowler, 26, of Hutchinson was westbound on U.S. 56 in a 2006 Infiniti G about 11:25 a.m. when he turned left toward Orchard Street and into the path of an oncoming van driven by Donald Keazer, 71, of Marion.

Keazer’s 2016 Dodge Grand Caravan struck the Infiniti in its driver’s side door.

Fowler and two passengers, Dana Koenig, 24, and Emmett Mayberry-Koenig, 6, as well as Keazer and a passenger in his van, Emily Caldwell, 36, were all taken to the hospital in Hillsboro.

A second passenger in the van, Loretta Keazer, 70, was not injured.
