Nassau County ,FL : 68-year-old man dies in crash with tractor-trailer on Wednesday ,May 13th 2015

A 68-year-old Hilliard man died in a crash in Nassau County Wednesday when a tractor-trailer hit a car on U.S. 1, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
From a stop sign he drove into the path of the tractor-trailer from West Third Street in Hilliard about 3:20 p.m., Sgt. Dylan Bryan said.

Jack Richard Musgrove was pronounced dead at the scene and his passenger, 67-year-old Cookie Sikes, was taken to a hospital with minor injuries, according to the Highway Patrol. They both were wearing seat belts.

The driver of the tractor-trailer, 45-year-old Jerry Lee Harris Jr. of Mershon, Ga., was not hospitalized.

No other information has been released.
