Two Women Seriously Injured in Car Crash in Delaware
Delaware state police say two women have been critically injured in a car crash near Milford.
The head-on collision occurred late Friday night on Milford Harrington Highway.
Police say for reasons that remain unclear, the driver of a Dodge Ram collided with a Mazda traveling in the opposite direction.
The Dodge overturned, though the driver was not injured. The Mazda caught fire, and the two women were pulled from the car before it became fully engulfed. Both suffered internal injuries and were admitted to the hospital in critical condition.
No charges have been filed, and authorities say alcohol doesn't appear to be a factor in the crash. Police say they're still investigating.
