TOWN OF FULTON, WI : High-speed pursuit ends in town of Fulton crash on Tuesday, July 25, 2017

A high-speed chase on rural roads north of Janesville on Tuesday night ended in a crash in the town of Fulton.

The Rock County Communications Center received a call at 8:29 p.m. reporting a subject had stolen money from someone. A few minutes later, a high-speed pursuit began involving the subject and police, said Derek Ninmer of the communications center.

The chase ended at 9 p.m. when the subject crashed his vehicle near Fulton Street and Main Street in the town of Fulton.

The Rock County Sheriff's Office, Edgerton Police Department and State Patrol were all involved in the pursuit. Janesville and Milton police provided peripheral assistance, Ninmer said.

The incident remains under investigation. Following the crash, Edgerton fire and EMS personnel were on scene determining the extent of the subject's injuries, Ninmer said.
