Irving, TX : One man died in fatal single-car accident on Sunday night,July 20, 2014

Irving police are investigating a single car crash that left a man dead Sunday night.

Irving police responded to the scene at westbound Texas State Highway 114 and Wingren Road shortly after 9 p.m. Officers found a man dead in his Tan Buick Park Avenue. Investigators said the man drove the car into the center median and struck a pillar on the Wingren bridge. It is unclear what caused him to crash.

He died at the scene.
