MIDDLETOWN, CT : Crash closes portion of Route 9 in Middletown on Wednesday, 16th August 2023

A box truck rolled over Wednesday morning, shutting down a portion of Route 9 in Cromwell.

According to CT Roads, southbound lanes on Route 9 between Exits 27 and 24 were closed due to the crash.

Connecticut State Police said minor injuries were reported.

All lanes reopened have since reopened.
