A teenager was struck and killed by a vehicle in Bladen County Wednesday night.
According to Lt. Mark McMichael of the Elizabethtown Police Department, a 16-year-old girl was walking east on West Broad Street near the Danaher Controls building when she was struck by an SUV.
The driver of the SUV called 911 following the accident, McMichael said.
The teen later passed away due to her injuries.
