GRAND BLANC TWP, MI : Man struck killed by vehicle in Grand Blanc Twp on Monday, 8th January 2024

A Grand Blanc Township resident is dead after he was struck by a car while walking in a roadway.

Grand Blanc Township Police responded to a crash in the 5100 block of E. Baldwin Road on Monday, Jan. 8 shortly after 8 p.m. Upon arrival, responding officers found a vehicle struck and killed a pedestrian in the roadway, police said.

According to police, the preliminary investigation showed a BMW 430Xi was travelling eastbound on Baldwin Road when it struck and killed a pedestrian, an 86-year-old Grand Blanc Township man, who was walking eastbound in the roadway.

The driver of the BMW, a 26-year-old Grand Blanc Township resident, was uninjured, police said.
