A 22-year old Claremore resident was injured in a motorcycle wreck early Tuesday.
According to Oklahoma Highway Patrol, the collision took place on 4220 Road, half a mile north of Hwy. 20, approximately five miles east of Claremore.
Jacob Collier was reportedly driving a 2007 Suzuki motorcycle at a high rate of speed when he lost control, according to OHP.
The trooper says Collier departed the roadway, struck two culverts before going airborne and coming to rest in a ditch.
OHP cites the cause of collision as unsafe speed.
Collier was transported by Air Evac to a Tulsa hospital.
