Stillwater, OK : Two injured in head-on collision on Wednesday, 19th October 2016
Two people were taken to Stillwater Medical Center on Wednesday night after a head-on collision at the intersection of Washington Street and Richmond Road.
The collision occurred shortly before 7 p.m., and emergency response crews arrived to find two pickup trucks just south of the intersection on Washington Street – the grill of a Ford pickup was caved in from a maroon GMC truck, and both vehicles had extensive damage to the front.
A Stillwater police officer said that the collision caused two people to be taken by a LifeNet ambulance to SMC, but neither person was in unstable condition. The officer said both the driver and rear passenger on the driver's side of the Ford pickup were injured – the passenger was experiencing head, neck and back pain, and the driver was being checked out of precaution after he reported possibly blacking out.
