Weymouth, NJ : Man critically injured in Weymouth around 2:00 a.m. Sunday on May 4th 2014

Authorities in Atlantic County are searching for the driver of a car that struck a man leaving him critically injured on a rural road.

According to police, the man was found lying on the lawn of a home on the unit block of Cape May Avenue in Weymouth around 2:00 a.m. Sunday.

The unidentified male was taken via medical helicopter to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center in Atlantic City in serious condition.

The incident remains under investigation by the New Jersey State Police.

No details have been released about the striking vehicle.
