Hopkinsville, KY : Three-vehicle accident sends 2 to hospital on April, Tuesday 4th 2017

Two people were sent to the hospital after a three-vehicle accident Tuesday afternoon on Fort Campbell Boulevard, according to a Hopkinsville police report.

Just after 3 p.m., a vehicle driven by Carmelo Rosario, 35, Clarksville, rear-ended a vehicle driven by Duane Conley, 56, Lucasville, Oklahoma, the report states. Conley was traveling north on Fort Campbell Boulevard and stopped at the traffic light near the Interstate 24 West ramp. The impact forced Rosario’s vehicle to bounce off Conley’s vehicle and hit a third vehicle, driven by Kenneth Haywood, 79, Clarksville, who was stopped in the lane next to Conley. The report cites inattention by Rosario as a factor in the accident.
