El Paso, TX : Person killed after being hit by a car in Northeast El Paso on Monday, 7th October 2024

Police are identifying the pedestrian killed in the collision as 67-year-old Lori Jean Kenyan. Police officials say Kenyan died at the scene.

Special Traffic Investigators say Kenyan was not in a designated crosswalk when she was struck by a car traveling north on McCombs.


"Investigators believe the pedestrian crossing in a non-designated area and poor lighting may have contributed to the crash," police officials explained Tuesday morning.
