HALFMOON, NY : Clifton Park man charged in crash that injured passenger on May, Thursday, 18th 2017

A Clifton Park man was drunk when he drove his car off a Halfmoon road and into a tree two months ago, seriously injuring his passenger, State Police said.
John W. Cole was charged Thursday with second-degree vehicular assault in the March 11 crash on Sitterly Road.
He had a blood alcohol content of 0.10 percent when he left the road, police said. His passenger sustained a serious back injury, they said.
Cole was arraigned in the Clifton Park Town Court and taken to the Saratoga County Jail pending a bail application hearing. The case will be forwarded to Saratoga County Court.
