ELKHART COUNTY, IN : Elkhart man dies in motorcycle crash on Saturday, 6h July 2024

An Elkhart man has died from his injuries in a motorcycle crash early Saturday morning.

The crash happened around 3:05 a.m. in the 28000 block of Old US-33 just outside of Elkhart’s city limits.

Police say 45-year-old Jason Bridges was heading east on Old US-33 in a Harley Davidson and was approaching State Road 19 when he ran off the road and struck a ditch and a street sign.

Bridges was taken to the hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
