Miami, OK: Grove man dies in single-car accident near Fairland on Saturday, July 18th 2015

A Grove man died in a single-car accident during the early hours of Saturday near State Highway 125 in Ottawa County, according to an accident report.About 12:10 a.m. Saturday, Timothy R. Glenn, 32, of Grove, was driving east on County Road 230, about 4 miles south of Fairland, when his 1997 Toyota left the roadway. Glenn's vehicle went into a broad slide for about before hitting a utility pole and a metal post fence.The vehicle turned over multiple times before landing on its wheels, according to the report.Glenn was taken to a nearby hospital and then to Mercy Regional Hospital in Springfield, Mo., hospital, where he was pronounced dead.An Oklahoma Highway Patrol trooper listed "unsafe speed" as the cause of accident. Glenn was not using his seat belt, according to the report.
