Lake Highlands, TX : Driver dies in crash after running red light at Lake Highlands intersection on Thursday, 4th July 2019

A driver in a stolen car was killed in a crash after running a red light early Thursday in Lake Highlands, police said.

Officers responded around 2:15 a.m. to the intersection of Skillman Street and Royal Lane. A Nissan Altima ran a red light and hit a Dodge Charger, Dallas police said.

The driver and passenger in the Altima were ejected. Both were taken to the hospital, where the passenger remains in critical condition, officials said.
