Charlotte County, FL : 19-year-old North port man killed when his motorcycle crashed into a car on Toledo Blade Boulevard on Monday, April 18, 2016

A 19-year-old North port man was killed shortly before 9 p.m. on Monday when his motorcycle crashed into a car on Toledo Blade Boulevard in Charlotte County.

?A 2008 Suzuki motorcycle was being driven north on Toledo Blade Boulevard by Sean Mulvey, 19, approaching Hillsborough Boulevard.

A 1998 Chevy Cavalier driven by Joshua Robinson, 19, of Port Charlotte was stopped facing south in the left turn lane on Toledo Blade Boulevard at the intersection of Hillsborough and began to make a left turn onto Hillsborough in front of Mulvey.

Mulvey began to brake and overturned, continued traveling northbound while overturning and hit the passenger side of Robinson's Cavalier.

Mulvey was pronounced deceased at the scene. Two passengers in Robinson's car received minor injuries.

The crash is under investigation and charges are pending.
