CHICAGO, IL : 1 killed in crash on the Bishop Ford in south suburban Thornton Township on Tuesday, 21st May 2019

A man was killed Tuesday in a vehicle crash on the Bishop Ford in south suburban Thornton Township.

About 3:50 a.m., a Dodge sedan was traveling in the middle lane of the northbound Bishop Ford Freeway when Illinois State Police said the driver failed to reduce speed and struck the rear of a semi-trailer near Sibley Boulevard.

The driver, who police identified as 41-year-old Randall Moore of Chicago, died at the scene.
