Man Killed in Construction Zone Identified

The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating a late night accident on Interstate 26 that killed one person.Authorities say around 11 on Sunday night a 2004 Chevy Tahoe going east on I-26 near mile marker 111 drove into a construction zone and hit a construction worker.The Lexington County Coroner has identified the victim as 35-year-old Nelson E. Gutierrez.Gutierrez was transported to the Lexington emergency room where they died as a result of his injuries. The driver of the car was not hurt.
