PUTNAM, CT : 1 dead in Putnam tractor-trailer crash on I-395 on Friday, 21st July 2023

One person is dead following a crash involving two tractor-trailers on Interstate 395 in Putnam Friday morning.

East Putnam Fire Chief Abe Walker said the crash occurred just before 4 a.m. Friday, involving a car and two tractor-trailers just north of Exit 45.

State police said 56-year-old Archie Ray Miller from Kingston, Pa., lost control of his tractor-trailer and rolled over. He was pronounced dead on the scene.
