CEDAR RAPIDS, IA : Man killed in Cedar Rapids crash power lines in the roadway on Sunday, 17th November 2024

Cedar Rapids Police are investigating, after a man died in a single car crash Sunday night, on Old River Road.

It happened 5:30 p.m. Sunday. Crews were called to the crash site on Old River Road SW, where they found power lines in the roadway, and one man in his car- dealing with a severe head injury.

75-year-old James Jones was identified as the victim, and died from his injuries a few hours later. The crash is still under investigation.
