Chickasha, OK : Chickasha man dies in rollover accident at a high rate of speed on CR 1380 on Friday, 17th January, 2020

A local resident died on Friday morning in a rollover fatality near Chickasha.

Tim Ryans, 35, of Chickasha, was traveling eastbound at a high rate of speed on CR 1380. At about 8:15 a.m., Ryans lost control of the vehicle and ran off the road to the left. His vehicle rolled two and a half times before coming to rest on its top. He was not wearing his seatbelt, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

Ryans died at the scene from massive injuries. His body was transported to Ferguson Funeral Home.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol reports unsafe speed as the cause of the collision. The roadway was also wet due to rain.
