Warsaw, NY : Dominic I. Maksymik, 18, killed and one woman injured in car accident with semi truck on Route 98 in Bennington on Sunday night, November 30, 2014

An 18-year-old Attica man died Sunday night after the car he was driving hit a tractor-trailer in the Wyoming County Town of Bennington, sheriff’s deputies reported. Dominic I. Maksymik was driving north on Route 98 when the car crossed into the southbound lane and hit the southbound rig, deputies said. Maksymik was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident, which was reported shortly after 8 p.m. Deputies said that a woman riding in the car was airlifted to Erie County Medical Center in critical condition. Her name wasn’t released. The truck driver, whose name wasn’t released, was treated at the scene and released, deputies said.
