A Berkeley County, W.Va., woman died early Thursday in a single-vehicle accident on Summit Point Road near Charles Town, the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office said.Teresa Whitehead, 42, of Bunker Hill, W.Va., was pronounced dead at 1:14 a.m., according to a sheriff's office news release.Whitehead was the sole occupant of the vehicle, a Chevrolet Astro.Police were summoned shortly before 1 a.m. after the driver apparently lost control of the vehicle on a curve while traveling west on Summit Point Road.The vehicle struck a utility pole, rolled over and then struck a mailbox, police said.
