Honolulu, HI : Maui crash leaves man in critical condition on Saturday, January, 27th 2018

A 31-year-old Pukalani man was in critical condition Saturday after rolling his vehicle in a crash in Kula, Maui police said.

The man was driving south-bound on Kula Highway near Naalae Road at about 12:30 a.m. when he drifted off the road and onto a grassy shoulder, then swerved back onto the road before crashing on the opposite shoulder, police said.

The man’s vehicle slammed into a guardrail end and a rock embankment, then rolled onto the passenger side.

Police said the man was extricated from the vehicle and taken to Maui Memorial Medical Center in critical condition.
