Billings, MT : An Idaho woman died and two other people injured after a rollover crash on Interstate 90 near Columbus early Monday, March 21, 2016

A 53-year-old woman from Rexburg, Idaho was killed when the SUV she was riding in crashed on Interstate 90 near Columbus in south-central Montana.

The Montana Highway Patrol says a 68-year-old man from Rexburg fell asleep at the wheel at about 2:45 a.m. Monday. He overcorrected, causing the SUV to roll several times.

The patrol tells The Billings Gazette that the victim and a 23-year-old man were not wearing seat belts and were thrown from the SUV as it rolled. The woman died at the scene.

The young man was flown to a hospital in Billings to be treated for serious injuries while the driver, who was wearing a seat belt, was treated at the clinic in Columbus.

No names have been released and the crash is still under investigation.
