KANSAS CITY, MO : Little girl critically injured in crash involving Britt Reid remains in coma on Thursday, 11th February 2021

The family of the young girl who was critically injured in a crash involving former Kansas City Chiefs assistant coach Britt Reid says the young girl remains in a coma one week after that crash.

The child's aunt set up a GoFundMe page to raise money for the family of 5-year-old Ariel Young, who suffered brain trauma and remains in critical condition in the hospital.

The GoFundMe page says Ariel's mother went to help her cousin who ran out of gas near I-435 and Stadium Drive. While helping her cousin, a Ram pickup truck driven by Reid, 35, who is Chiefs head coach Andy Reid's son, crashed into their vehicles on the side of the road. Ariel and another child were hurt.
