ATLANTA, GA : 1 killed, 1 injured after car crosses median, Cobb County on Wednesday, 28th August 2024

One person was killed and another was injured in a car crash Wednesday morning, according to Cobb County police.

Police said Hayleigh Curtis, 23, was driving east on the East-West Connector near Concord Road when her car crossed the concrete median, colliding with another car. Curtis’ car came to a stop on the westbound shoulder, while the other car came to stop on the concrete median.

Curtis was pronounced dead on the scene. The other driver was taken to the hospital with minor injuries, according to police.
