Butte, MT : Man, 86, died in crash on Interstate 90 west of Ramsay on Tuesday, February 14, 2017
An 86-year-old man died in a crash around 3:30 p.m. Tuesday on Interstate 90, about a mile west of the Ramsay exit, according to the Montana Highway Patrol.
According to an MHP press release, the driver was navigating a curve going right when he veered into the median, overcorrected and rolled the vehicle into a ditch where it landed on the driver's side.
Both the driver and passenger were wearing seat belts. The passenger was killed. Details on the driver's condition were not available.
The press release said speed was a factor, and that the vehicle was from Anaconda. Names of those involved were not released.
