Olympia, WA : 2 men injured in rollover crash on Mullen Road on February, Sunday 25th 2018
Two men, both of whom are in their 20s, were injured late Sunday when the SUV they were riding in rolled in the 7900 block of Mullen Road Southeast, according to Lacey police.
Both were taken to Providence St. Peter Hospital in Olympia for injuries suffered during the crash, but Lacey police also obtained a search warrant so that the driver’s blood could be drawn. He is suspected of driving under the influence of alcohol at the time of the incident, Sgt. Jaime Newcomb said Monday.
About 11:55 p.m. Sunday, Lacey police were dispatched to Mullen Road where they found the SUV up against a tree. The driver was already out of the SUV, but the passenger was trapped and calling for help. Lacey Fire District 3 used equipment to extricate the man from the vehicle.
There was conflicting information about how fast the two men were going before they crashed, Newcomb said.
