Amherst, N.H : Woman killed in crash on Route 101A in Amherst on Wednesday, October 22, 2014

A woman was killed in a crash involving a tractor-trailer on Route 101A in Amherst on Wednesday. The Amherst police chief said the victim was driving a sedan when she made a left turn onto Route 101A heading toward Milford and hit another car, got spun around, and got hit head-on by a sand and gravel truck. The truck driver and the driver in the other car were taken to the hospital, police said. Police said they believe speed was a factor in the crash.
