Dennis, MA : One person injured in a two-vehicle crash on Route 6 Monday morning, May 16, 2016

One person was injured in a two-vehicle crash on Route 6 Monday morning. According to a Dennis Fire Department release, the rear-end crash occurred around 8:24 a.m. in the single lane section of Route 6.

Both Dennis and Harwich firefighters and Massachusetts State Police troopers responded to the scene.
One of the drivers was transported to Cape Cod Hospital in Hyannis with non life-threatening injuries. The other driver was evaluated at the scene, the release said.

The crash tied up traffic between Exits 9 and 10 in both directions for 30 minutes.
Neither driver has been identified.

The cause of the crash is under investigation by Massachusetts State Police.
