Jamestown, ND : Streeter man dies in ATV accident on Wednesday, 16th May 2018

The Kidder County Sheriff’s Office released details Wednesday of an all-terrain vehicle accident Saturday that took the life of a Streeter, N.D., man.
Rodney Schmidt, 66, died Saturday, when the four-wheel ATV he was operating on a farm northwest of Streeter near Alkaline Lake struck a root and overturned on top of him, according to Kidder County Sheriff Barry Vanatta.

He said Schmidt died at the scene.

A sheriff’s deputy responded to a 911 call at 10:12 p.m., at the farm at 4989 44th Ave. SE, Vannatta said.
